2024 Rebecca A. Head Award from The American Public Health Association's Environmental Section

Rhea Goswami was recognized for her work with the Environmental Justice Coalition. This new award recognizes an outstanding emerging leader from the environmental health field working at the nexus of science, policy and environmental justice. The award honors Rebecca A. Head, PhD, DABT, an influential leader in the Environment Section and APHA, and indomitable voice for local public health, equity and justice.

2023 JUST Award Winner from Cornell University

Rhea Goswami was recognized for her work with the Environmental Justice Coalition. This award recognizes a student, student organization, event, or project for outstanding work on environmental justice issues, understanding that every environmental issue is also a social issue. This award celebrates actions taken on campus or beyond, including efforts to foster justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in sustainability work.

2022 NOW Youth Leadership Award

The Environmental Justice Coalition's co-founders Rhea Goswami and Natasha Matta were named the 2022 NOW Youth Leadership Award by the Children's Environmental Health Network.
